A candid discussion on the MEL Framework

This webinar was presented on the 20th of January 2021. The MEL framework was first discussed in Bangkok, during the Global Farmer Field School conference on Monitoring and Evaluation in 2018 . Later on in 2019, it was further discussed at the Regional Field School Workshop in Addis Ababa, hosted by the FAO Eastern Africa sub-regional office. In 2020, a select team of FFS master trainers attached to the Eastern Africa FS Hub, undertook field testing of the MEL framework.  In this webinar, the MTs  gave a candid feedback of the MEL framework and proposed a way forward for effective FS implementation in the region. The Monitoring and Evaluation specialist at the FS Hub made attempts at simplifying the framework into a simple to use field guide.
